Ison Products was established in 1973 and rapidly developed an enviable reputation for innovation and quality in both engineerimhg services and manufacturing. In 2025, Ison Products was acquired by Dycon Power Solutions, the Welsh manufacturer of advanced low-voltage power supply solutions.

Product Design

We have an in house CAD designer who can assist customers with the design of their product or part. Our design engineers play a crucial role in understanding the product requirements, converting ideas into actionable design concepts.

Prototyping

 Once the design has been finalised, there is nothing better than to bring the component to life, and see it for real. We 3D print our designs to get a sense of the likely end product and whether there should be any further modifications. Seeing the model at an early stage allows costly errors to be eliminated, tooling can be modified relatively inexpensively.

Tooling

Tooling is as much an art as it is a science, and is at the heart of any successful product. We work closely with a number of selected toolmakers, using our comprehensively detailed tooling specifications. This combination ensures you have the right tool, at the right time, with the right results. 

Production

We will bring your idea to reality, guiding you through the process and supporting you to see which method of manufacturing is best suited to your need. Our range of machines can get your idea to market, no matter if it is low, medium or high volume.

We are always on the look out for innovative and sustainable methods of bringing your product to market. We are capable of using and producing products with  environmentally friendly materials such as Bio based plastics, biodegradable plastics and  recyclable plastics.
